I. Overview of scenic spots
Wan'an Mountain, also known as Dashi Mountain, Shilin Mountain and Yuquan Mountain, is located in the southeast of Luoyang City. It is located at the junction of Yibin District, Yichuan County and Yanshi, Luoyang City, about 15 kilometers away from the city. The total length of the scenic spot is 14.6 kilometers. From west to east, the main tourist attractions include Guanyi Range Rover, Taixuhuajing, Shilin Huaigu, Pinglan Yangsheng, Lingtai Wizard, Songling Wendao, and Yuxu Guanxiang. The average altitude of the scenic spot is 500 meters, the Yuxu viewing platform is 888.8 meters above sea level, Songling Wendao Fuyunxuan is 903 meters above sea level, and the highest peak is the Ancestral Temple is 937.3 meters above sea level, which is dedicated to Zhenwu Emperor, a god with a relatively high status of Taoism.
The first stone archway "Wan Wen Dao" was inscribed by Mr. Yu Qiuyu, a famous cultural scholar.
The landscape stone "Wan'an Mountain Peak Park" at the west entrance of the scenic spot was written by Mr. Fan Di'an, President of the Central Academy of Fine Arts and Vice Chairman of the Artists Association.
The second stone archway "Yunshan Painting" was written by Mr. Liu Dawei, Vice Chairman of the China Federation of Literary and Art Circles and Chairman of the Chinese Artists Association.
1. Guanyi Range Rover: Guanyi Range Rover is located at the west starting point of the park. If Wan'an Mountain, which winds more than 20 miles, is regarded as a giant dragon across the southern wall of the imperial capital, this peak is just like a dragon looking back.
2. Taixuhuajing: The scenic spots in Taixuhuajing make full use of the characteristics of the topography and terrain, and set up viewing platforms, curved bridges, and tea tasting watersides, etc.
3. Shilin Huaigu: Wan'an Mountain is also known as Shilin Mountain. Shilin Xueji, one of the eight small scenery in Luoyang, refers to here. There is a bronze statue of Emperor Wei shooting deer, the main landmark building.
The bronze statue of Emperor Wei shooting deer: the bronze statue is 8.5 meters high, 9.5 meters long and weighs 8.5 tons. The horse steps on the wall and looks southeast. It tells the story of Cao Pi, Emperor Wen of Wei, who took his son Cao Rui into the mountain to shoot deer. The rider on horseback is Wei Wendi Cao Pi.
Jianshan Pavilion: Built in memory of Sima Guang, in the fourth year of Xining in the Northern Song Dynasty, Sima Guang bought more than 20 mu of land in Sima Street Village at the foot of the mountain and built a unique park because he opposed Wang Anshi's change. There, China's first chronical general history, Zizhi Tongjian, was completed.
Fuhu Pavilion: It tells the story of Sun Li's stabbing the tiger in the Cao Wei period. When Cao Pi was driving to hunt, a tiger suddenly rushed to his car. Everyone was shocked. Only Sun Li, the accompanying minister, was not panicked and confused. The sword fell in his hand. The tiger had been lying on the ground to protect the safety of Emperor Wei Ming.
Seven Sages Yalin: Tell tourists the story of the "Seven Sages in the Bamboo Forest" that happened more than 1700 years ago. Among them, the seven sages of Zhulin are Ruan Ji, Ji Kang, Liu Ling, Xiang Xiu, Wang Rong, Shan Tao and Ruan Xian.
4. According to historical records, eight prime ministers in the Tang and Song Dynasties slept in Wan'an Mountain after their death, including Yao Chong, Zhang Xi, Zhang Yue, Pei Zunqing, Dong Jin, Pei Shu, Fan Zhongyan and Fan Chunren. The scenic spots have Yule Pavilion and Youletai to commemorate Fan Zhongyan, who wrote the famous sentence "the worries of the world first, and the happiness of the world later".
5. The Wizard of Lingtai: the best place to see the natural scenery in the scenic spot. You can enjoy the stone forest landscape and Danxia landform. Zui Xianting, written by Mr. Jia Pingwa, a famous Chinese writer, to commemorate Mr. Ouyang Xiu, a famous Chinese writer. The fairyland archway was inscribed by the famous art performer Liu Xiaoling Tong. The three characters "Sanqingjing" were written by Ren Farong, the former president of the Taoist Association.
6. Songling asked: The scenic spots are composed of Tianshu Cliff, Bu Lao Shi, Star Viewingtai and Fuyunxuan. The location of Fuyunxuan Tea House is 903 meters above sea level in the first phase.
7. Yuxu View: Yuxu is the place where the Jade Emperor lives in Taoism. The viewing platform is 888.8 meters above sea level. It can overlook the Ancestral Temple, Yueting in the east, Fuyunxuan in the west, three sacred sites in the north, Yichuan Plain in the south, and ten thousand mu of forest under its feet.
